It all started with a fundamental question: “What’s in this product?” This was quickly followed by: “Why are ingredients so hard to understand?”


Reeling after a severe allergic reaction (on her face, no less) Sabrina was at a loss after countless dermatologist visits, internet rabbit holes, and confusing product labels. We’ve all been there—trapped—blindly spending time and money to find products that work. She had a third question: “What information can help me vet products before buying?”


Sabrina began rethinking the building blocks of beauty: ingredient data. Aided by 15 years of experience in data analytics, she began building our specialized technology team in 2017.

Today, ClearForMe is a team of 11 people, advocating for consumer-friendly labelling in beauty. 



Our ever-evolving database of over 1.6 million ingredients empowers the beauty marketplace to make critical marketing and purchasing decisions, building trust between brands and consumers. Each tool within our product suite standardizes the ingredients in beauty products based on their technical specifications. 



With over 350 brands in our B2B portfolio, including the biggest names in beauty retail, we’re establishing the industry standard for ingredient clarity.

We envision ingredient information as a stepping stone towards clarity within the entire beauty industry. We call this the Clear Beauty movement—join us in leading the charge.
